The map in the first post is our base so making a list of items to add to it would be great. I have suggested to the current members that doing research for the map is probably the best way forward right now. After we have a fully fleshed out start scenario then all other scenarios from there would be chosen by the team at the time. We would need to get that fully fleshed out before adding new start dates. I think that at the start the starting scenario should be limited to 1 start date. Perhaps, eventually, we could do multiple scenarios for different am not too worried about this, then again AGOT mod did get something along these liens (If I remember correctly). Vong invasion for the third one and pre-republic for the 1st one.
There are a number of good starts for all three of those stages. One thing that would be interesting with doing that war in the game is the fact that palpatine was leader of both the republic and, secretly, the really do like that idea with the phases. On the onset of the war each system could control and maintain there own fleet and army, by the end of the war, palpatine's centralisation polices meant that all system/sector navies were centralised under one and ultimate control of the chancellor.
The Republic certainly had a strange military system. Depending on the details of how federations work and if we can have more than one will depend on how that goes. One thing about the Confederacy is that while it was De jure a federation, de facto it was much more centralised than the republic. I think it will def be added in, if not at the start, at some point. At the very least some start dates that will be added in at some point would def be the Start of the Clone wars and the Galactic Civil War, since these are the most well of the Galactic Civil War and Clone wars, I enjoy the clone wars a lot more. I’m not one to sing too many unnecessary praises for a mod, but as a huge Star Wars nerd, I had a blast giving this one a go.Would be great though since we have yet to pick a starting position your research could be wasted.
